I was honored to be selected to display painting at the Venice Family Clinic Art Auction again this year. http://www.veniceartwalk.org/

From their website: “Join Los Angeles’ hottest established and emerging contemporary artists in raising over $650,000 to fund health care for the 20,000 low-income, uninsured and homeless patients of Venice Family Clinic.”

I displayed my painting of Grumpy Cat and it was quite a big hit. There were lots of Grumpy cat fans in the audience! What I was donating though wasn’t the Grumpy Cat portrait although there were several people interested in buying it, but a portrait of someones pet.  I was surprised how many bids there were on it!

Feels good to have a painting be bid on and win and to raise money to help people!
